Just bought my second bottle of Night Collagen Burn; I wanted to wait until I had used it for a while before writing a review. Usually, with sleep products, they work great initially, but then the effects diminish as your body gets accustomed to them.
I can say that while it didn't make me fall asleep immediately or very quickly after taking it, it did gradually help me get sleepier, but not in an overpowering way. Once I did fall asleep, I slept deeply. I woke up less and slept a bit more soundly than usual (I'm normally a light sleeper), but if I did wake up, I didn't feel groggy or out of it, and it was easy to fall back asleep. My sleep schedule is quite irregular; I work evenings and don't go to bed at the same time every day. With other sleep aids, I had to plan ahead and take them more than 8 hours before my planned wake-up time, or else I'd be too drowsy to get up. Not so with Night Collagen Burn. If I knew I wouldn't get 8 hours and was already a bit sleepy, I'd take 1 for the overall benefits. If I was close to getting 8 hours, like 6.5/7 hours consecutively, I'd take 2 sachets.
But honestly, the best benefits were a) no grogginess upon waking and b) daytime benefits. When I woke up, not only did I not feel groggy or sluggish, I actually felt more alert and happier than usual! It didn't take me as long to wake up mentally, even without caffeine. I could respond to work emails immediately after waking and recall important information easily; I wasn't in a fog. I felt more energetic throughout the day, was more alert, and less stressed. This matches the product's claims of improving sleep quality, reducing nighttime awakenings, and promoting a better mood.
Possibly the biggest change is that I can nap now, and they're rejuvenating naps! Before, I would be mentally exhausted, but I was so stressed and tense that I couldn't turn my brain off to nap or sleep. Now, in the late evening when I'm done with work, I actually feel that pleasant kind of sleepy, like comfy cozy when I'm watching TV, where I can doze off. Sometimes it's only 30-45 minutes, sometimes up to 3 hours, but even if I haven't taken my dose for that night yet, I can nap and then get up and do more or choose to take my bedtime dose and continue sleeping. If I feel sleepy like that and don't want to sleep yet, I'll get up and walk around or do something lightly stimulating like watching an action show or a new episode of something instead of a rerun, and my brain switches into active mode again. The ashwagandha seems to be helping my cortisol levels, so I'm less stressed and frazzled, and I feel like a *normal* person again who can doze off watching evening TV.
I will definitely continue buying this product and recommend it to others. I'm eager to see if the metabolism effects will kick in if taken regularly at the full dose!
